Hospital da Plástica
On August 11, 1971, in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro, Dr. Farid Hakme founded a clinic of plastic surgery that was opened under the name of Clínica Integrada, with 01 operating room and 03 bedrooms.
Dr. Hakme is considered a plastic surgery icon in Brazil. He is an alumni of Dr. Ivo Pitanguy, arguably the world’s most renowned plastic surgeon.
In 1984, Clínica Integrada became Clínica Interplástica, and its facilities were improved to hold 04 operating rooms and 12 apartments.
In the year of 2006, Clínica Interplástica turned 35 years old, and right now it has 12 operating rooms and 21 suites. It is now known as Hospital da Plástica and it is exclusively dedicated to plastic surgery procedures.
